Blog in English for business collaborations

RoundWord. This blog written in English gives me emotions every day, most likely because I do not know English well and I do not want to distribute it on social networks, people will laugh at me if they notice that I write wrong. In my native language I like to think I’m writing well, but I do not know if I can ever say the same thing about English.

I do not know how, but people are coming in here sometimes and then I wonder what they found, if they liked my blog, if they would come back to read something else. That’s how I was with my first blog written in Romanian and now I’m proud of it, because it grew nicely and pretty well known in that area. I’m proud of this blog. It’s not easy to write in a language that is not yours and you did not know much about until a few months ago.

Honest to be, I hope that this blog will grow as big and beautiful as it is my blog in Romanian, bring me new friends from all over the world and why not?, even collaborations to be thanked for both me and the companies I will support. To get there I will have to work a lot, write a lot more and better in English, gather a community around the blog, get involved and be open to the new one. Read More

This is where all dreams is beginning

That day was cold and cloudy. We (my husband and I) were walking with great strides, trying to keep away from the wind that shook our cheek. For me Scotland was still a foreign country, very beautiful, but different in many ways from my country. I was looking for a bookstore from where to buy books to learn English and I could only find libraries.

By chance, while heading for the supermarket, I saw on the sidewalk a book with children’s stories. I enjoyed it very much and I took it without thinking, especially because it was going to start raining. Than be destroyed by the rain, I better go to my home and learn English reading it.

I already had some books in English, but a children’s book I thought was easier to understand. It was not like I thought. The Fantabulous BFG book is pretty tough for a person who knows English at the beginner level. Read More

Hello world!

This is my first post in English, so be merciful and do not criticize me too much. I know I’m going to make a lot of mistakes, but I want to learn to write and spike in English and the blog is a good way to succeed. I live in Scotland since 22 September 2017. I understand almost everything people are talking about, but I can not find my words to communicate with them. For this reason at work I only sit with my mouth shut, which bothers me first. I will try to write as often as possible on my blog and I hope this will help me to develop my English language.

I was thinking to open another blog as soon as I learn English well enough. But why should I wait until when? I probably will not be ever able to write as well as a native. Besides, how can I learn better if not practice day by day? I will keep these small texts and I will post them on the blog when it will be ready (it is and… done). I would like to see, other the years, how I grow. I don’t care if others will be amused by my mistakes. For me, it is important to learn something at all times, to become better, and at this stage of my life learning English is the main objective. Read More
