Homework – a short note

Imagine that you work in a supermarket. You were cleaning when something broke. Your boss has already gone home. Write a short note explaining what happened.

I was cleaning the floor when the bowl broke. I probably touched it with my sweeping brush.

I was throwing the broken bowl in the bin when the supervisor saw me.

I was writing this short note when he asked me to explain what happened.

I was explaining him how the bowl broke when the supervisor touched the coffee cup on your desk.

I was bending under the table to catch the cup when the supervisor’s head hit my head.

I was laughing out loud when he called the emergency line.

I was lying in the hospital bed, my bandaged head full of pain when the supervisor visited me.

I was trying to finish this short note when you called me.

I had a lot of fun writing this homework. Next day I remembered my homework because:

I was cleaning under the machine when my head hit it. Now I have a “nice” bump. 😀
