People sell beautiful pictures

I remember that in the summer of 2013 I heard that there are people who take beautiful pictures and sell them, earning money for them to live on. I always liked to take pictures. Where can I sell the beautiful photos I take? I was going through a hard time and I had no money at all. You know, life is so hard sometimes.

I thought I could take good pictures to sell to those who needed them. Do you want to buy good photos? I read on the internet that there are companies that buy representative photos for their business. There are bloggers who need images so they can illustrate their articles. So I started dreaming that I could make money doing what I love.

I started by creating accounts on all kinds of intermediate websites

They give people the opportunity to sell and buy photos. Of course, these sites charged a commission, but that wasn’t a problem if I could sell a lot of beautiful photos.

In my imagination, companies and bloggers would have struggled to buy the images I was making, or even offer extra money, just to be able to use them. I must tell you that, in my imagination, I was already the best photographer in Europe, even on Earth. I have already seen myself rich and famous due to my excellent pictures.

After any beautiful dream comes the awakening, like a shower of cold water. How do I sell the photos I take if I don’t even have a good camera? How can I take beautiful pictures if I leave the house so rarely? I was writing a lot on blogs then. What kind of photos can I take in an old town, where there are only communist apartment buildings and garbage? But most of all, how do I take pictures if I don’t have a camera? Sounds funny to you, doesn’t it? It wasn’t for me, because I needed money and that would have been an easy and pleasant source of income.

The result came naturally. I knew you had to invest first if you wanted to make a profit, so from the money I earned from writing I bought the cheapest camera and left the house to take the most beautiful photos. I photographed everything I came across – trees, butterflies, dogs, cats, cars, flowers, old buildings, statues, birds, landscape, sunset, graffiti on the walls, lanterns, toys, books, fruits and coffee cups. Where can I sell the beautiful photos I take?

From dream to reality in selling photos

Now, I’m sure I’m starting to make money selling my photos! I was thinking, happy. I uploaded one of my photos to a site where photos were sold, convinced that I would be successful immediately. The outcome? My photo was rejected. It does not comply do not know the required size there. : D

Disappointed, I decided to use all my photos to illustrate only the blog posts I write. Years have passed. In 2018, I bought a better camera with which I can take beautiful pictures. I’m not thinking about selling them anymore. Sometimes I don’t even post them online. Sometimes I include them in small videos that I upload to YouTube.

Here my photos are successful. People really like my pictures. I know I have a lot of work to do until my pictures look like professional photos. However, I am proud of the pictures I take. I’m waiting for the day when the first company will want to buy my photos. : D Until then, I post them on my blogs and on my YouTube channel.
